EN Working Project explores the potential of temporary spaces. London real estate is a manifestation of complex social, political and economic power relations. In such context Working Project seeks to maximise the potential of ephemeral spaces, by providing flexible solutions for their clients while at the same time providing opportunities for London creatives. Their initiatives include, but are not limited to events, exhibitions, artist residencies and co-working spaces. The visual identity reflects the transient nature of Working Project initiatives. The typography echoes the markings found in building materials while the dot matrix suggest movement. The logo contemplates the inclusion of a postcode for each site, thus allowing for an ever-expanding (and ever-vanishing) family of logos, that are generic yet site-specific. A photo-essay by Max Creasy documents the first site – a disused Shopping Mall – an uncertain space full of possibilities.
