EN Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design is considered one of the leading art institutions worldwide. Its Graphic Design course is one of the largest of its kind in the UK, with around 150 students graduating from BAGD every year. From 2012 to 2016, the studio was in charge of the spatial design and the curation for the final year show. For 2015, we decided along with the students to curate the show in a radically different way. Trying to come out with a curatorial concept that would reflect the students’ common interests and concerns regardless of which pathway they belonged to. After a series of public surveys, the students’ work was organized around loose themes. Each theme was codified by a set of keywords, that referenced traditional archival practices as well as social media tagging.

Su carrera de diseño gráfico es uno de los cursos más grandes de su tipo en el Reino Unido, con aproximadamente 150 graduados por cada año. Entre 2012–2016, nuestro estudio se encargó del diseño del Final Year Show. En el año 2015, se tomó la decisión de afrontar la curaduría de una manera colectiva. En vez de organizar el trabajo por disciplinas (p.ej. Ilustración o Tipografía) nos concentramos en los intereses y preocupaciones comunes de los estudiantes. Después de una serie de talleres y encuestas, se identificaron múltiples temas. Cada area de la exposición estaba definida por una constelación de palabras clave, que tendían un puente entre un archivo tradicional y las redes sociales.
